Rooftop Tent Comfort & Anti-Condensation

Beat condensation and sleep dry in your roof top tent. Cold Australian mornings turn damp when warm, humid air meets the cold alloy floor of your tent. A 15mm 3D-mesh anti-condensation mat lifts your mattress off the floor so air can move underneath — cutting the moisture that causes damp bedding and mould.

Add a Revo-X mattress cover to keep your bedding fresh, and a rechargeable tent fan to move air on still, humid nights — ventilation is the single biggest lever against condensation. How to Stop Roof Top Tent Condensation

Condensation is the most common comfort complaint in hardshell roof top tents — and it has nothing to do with a leak. On cold Australian mornings the warm, humid air you breathe out overnight meets the cold aluminium floor and inner canvas of the tent and turns to water, leaving damp bedding, a wet mattress base and, over time, mould. The good news: it is preventable with two cheap fixes — airflow underneath your mattress, and ventilation through the tent.

An anti-condensation mat is the first line of defence. The 15mm 3D-mesh mat sits between your mattress and the tent floor, creating an open air gap so moisture can move and escape instead of pooling against the cold shell. It rolls up, weighs almost nothing, and is the single most cost-effective upgrade you can make to sleep dry.

Ventilation is the other half of the equation. A rechargeable, magnetic-mount tent fan keeps air moving on still, humid nights — exactly when condensation is worst — and clears moist air before it can settle. Cracking a window helps, but actively moving air makes the biggest difference.

A replacement Revo-X mattress cover keeps your bedding fresh and protects the foam underneath, and is available to suit both the Revo-X 1.3 and 1.45. Together, the mat, the fan and a clean cover form a simple, proven anti-condensation system.

Every product here is chosen for how Australians actually camp — coastal humidity, alpine cold mornings and everything in between — and is designed for Australian conditions.
