Put support exactly where you want it. This is a spare or additional telescopic leg for the Rainger Duo awning range - the same leg that comes with the awning. Each leg has a spigot on top that inserts into the end of any awning arm, at any position where there is not already an arm running.
Handy when you want extra support on the windward side, a little more height in one corner, or a replacement for a leg that has gone missing.
Best added to your awning order, or collected in person.
The leg is 137cm long when packed, so it is an awkward and expensive parcel to send on its own. Two ways to avoid that:
-
Add it to your awning order - it travels with the awning at no meaningful extra freight cost.
-
Collect from Rainger HQ - Unit 3/55 Edison Crescent, Baringa QLD 4551.
We can still ship one on its own if you need it. Message us and we will sort out the freight with you before you pay anything.
How it works
- Spigot on top inserts into the open end of any awning arm
- Fits any arm position where there is not already an arm present
- Telescopic, so you can set the height to suit uneven ground
- Identical to the leg supplied with the awning
Do I need one?
Most setups are fine on the legs the awning came with - the ratchet ropes do the primary tensioning, and the legs are additional support. Add a leg if you camp somewhere consistently windy, want to firm up a particular corner, or have lost the original.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit my awning?
It is made for the Rainger Duo awning range and inserts into the arm ends. If you are not certain which Duo awning you have, or you are running another brand, send us a photo of your arm end and we will confirm before you order.
Is this the same as the leg that came with my awning?
Yes. It is the same portable telescopic leg, sold individually as a spare or an addition.
Where exactly does it go?
Into the end of any arm at a position where there is not already an arm running down. That lets you add support at any point around the awning perimeter where you feel you need it.
Why is shipping awkward?
The leg is 137cm long packed. On its own that is an oversize parcel and the freight is out of proportion to the item. Ordered alongside an awning it goes in the same consignment. Pickup from Baringa is free. Either way, message us first and we will work out the cheapest way to get it to you.
How many can I add?
As many as you have free arm ends for. Each leg needs a position where there is not already an arm present.
