Starlink Mini Roof Rack Mount with Anderson Plug - Australian Made

Laser cut and folded from 3mm 5005 aluminium and made in Brisbane. The dish sits in an EVA foam shock cradle built on the same idea as a Pelican case insert, so corrugations and stutter bumps are not transmitted straight into the hardware. A 3mm Perspex cover goes over the top to keep stones, branches and UV off it.

The 25cm Anderson to DC cable is already made up, so the dish runs off your 12V system rather than an inverter and a wall plug.

Is this the one you need?

Yes, if you have a flat surface to mount to. A dual cab with a separate cab rack forward of the tent usually does. So does a tray, a canopy, a caravan or a boat.

No, if you are mounting onto a roof top tent. On a wagon the tent takes up the whole rack and there is nowhere left to put a dish, so it has to go on the tent lid - which is curved, not flat. This mount on its own will leave the dish sitting at whatever angle the lid gives it. For that you want the Starlink Mini Roof Top Tent Kit, which adds the tilting adjustable bracket and the M8 tent hardware.

A rack-specific bolt kit is $15 and is made to suit Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform, Rola Titan Tray, Yakima Lock N Load, Front Runner, or a plain lock nut set. We have kept this listing to one option on purpose. Rack compatibility

Suits Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform and Pioneer 6, Yakima Lock N Load, Rola Titan Tray and Front Runner, and works with ARB Base Rack bridging plates.

Fastener kits use M8 coarse thread (1.25mm pitch) 13mm long bolts. Slot nut sizes differ between racks, so tell us which rack you are running and we will match the hardware.

Heat note, worth knowing in QLD

The Perspex covers are rated to +75C with short term tolerance to +90C. In hotter parts of the country the white or clear cover holds less heat than a dark one.
