Starlink Mini Roof Top Tent Kit - Mount, Tilt Bracket and Hardware

A roof top tent lid is not flat. A Starlink Mini needs to sit close to level. That is the whole problem, and this kit is the fix.

Everything here is sold as one kit because the parts only work as a set. You get the Australian made Starlink Mini mount, the tilting adjustable bracket that levels the dish against a curved or sloped tent lid, and the mounting hardware to fix it down properly.

Which setup are you running?

Wagons - this kit. On a wagon the tent takes up the rack, so there is no room left to put a Starlink anywhere on the rack itself. The dish has to go on the tent, and that is exactly where the tilting bracket earns its place.

Dual cabs with a separate cab rack - you may not need the tilt. If you run a cab rack forward of the tent, you often already have a flat spot to work with, and the standard non-tilting mount will do the job on its own, for less. Why the tilt bracket matters

Mount a Starlink Mini flat onto a hardshell tent and it sits at whatever angle the lid gives you. The tilting bracket is adjustable, so you set the dish to the horizontal plane regardless of the surface under it. It suits the Revo X and other hardshell roof top tents.

Running a Rainger Revo-X? Add the third rail

The tilt bracket fixes to the lid with M8 T-slot hardware, so it needs a rail to run in. On a Rainger Revo-X we suggest the Revo X Third Extrusion Cross Rail - Roof Rack Kit: it gives the Starlink its own rail on the lid and leaves your existing cross rails free for the rest of your gear.

Built to survive corrugations

The dish sits in an EVA foam shock cradle built on the same idea as a Pelican case insert, so stutter bumps and corrugations are not transmitted straight into the hardware. A 3mm Perspex cover goes over the top to keep stones, branches and UV off it.

The Anderson to DC cable is already made up, so the dish runs off your 12V system rather than an inverter and a wall plug.

Also suits racks and trays

The mount fits Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform and Pioneer 6, Yakima Lock N Load, Rola Titan Tray and Front Runner, and works with ARB Base Rack bridging plates. Rack fastener kits use M8 coarse thread (1.25mm pitch) 13mm long bolts, and slot nut sizes differ between racks. Tell us what you are running and we will match it.

Heat note, worth knowing in QLD

The Perspex covers are rated to +75C with short term tolerance to +90C. In hotter parts of the country the white or clear cover holds less heat than a dark one.
